Vice Principal's Page

Hello.  My name is Lisa Ford and I am the first ever Assistant Principal of Phelan Elementary School.  When I first started my journey in the Snowline Joint Unified School District I had the honor of being a teacher here at Phelan Elementary.  I taught here for 5 years and then found a love for administration and being able to positively impact our students and families in different ways.  I moved to Serrano High School as the Dean of Students and had that position for 11 years.  The last 2 years I was at Serrano was as the Assistant Principal.  When it was discussed that Phelan Elementary needed an Assistant Principal I jumped at the opportunity.  It has felt like coming home and Phelan has always held a special place in my heart.  

I strongly believe in our PBIS, school-wide expectations, and Restorative Practices approaches.  Helping our students, staff, and families be able to effectively manage respect, responsibility, and safety so that all of our students can learn in the best environment possible is my ultimate goal.  

Our teachers and staff at Phelan are an amazing group of individuals who put the needs of all of our students first.  They are committed to creating a family atmosphere that helps all students and families feel welcome and important.  I am so proud to be back on the Falcon Team and my door is always open for you if there are ever any concerns or questions.
